Embers & Elements is a lifestyle and food editorial developed in early 2025, exploring the intersection of food, atmosphere, and form. The work combines still life photography centered around beverages, ingredients and dishes shaped by fire, charred, smoked, and infused with depth.

This visual narrative continues through a connection with Sydney’s architecture, drawing on its structural forms, soft greys, and circular movements that echo the fluidity of smoke. Through this relationship, the editorial blurs the line between the organic and the constructed, allowing each element to inform the other.

Together, these components create a cohesive visual journey,  one that moves between texture and structure, heat and stillness, capturing a refined study of form, tone, and sensory experience.
